Imagine you are on holidays. Write a postcard to your English friend .Use as many adjectives from the Language Focus (page 7) as you can.

Greetings from France,Saint Tropez.It's a very interesting place to visit.There are a lot of celebrities here,like Angelina Jolie,Lindsay Lohan,Megan Fox.I wish to kiss Lindsay,she's very cute.At the beach,the atmosphere is very exciting.There are a lot of girls.That's very interesting for me.The food is fascinating,I have eaten nougat of Senequier,tropeziene sandals and Tropezian Tart(very good).I have visited the Museum of the Annunciation,Citadel St.Tropez and Butterfly House.The guide was very amusing,I didn't understand a word,because he's french.There are two very visited beaches,the Niki Beach and Club 55.There's and a nightclub called VIP Room,terrifying name.I wish you'll not be jealous,because now Lindsay kissed me.

Greetings from Rome. It's a wonderful city with incredible building everywhere and even the worse restaurant has fresh food everyday. I love the people and the delicious food. 2 day ago ,I visited a lot of monuments like: the giant Colosseum, the magnificent Basilica of St. Peter, the Fontana di Trevi (it is a fountain), the Forum , the popular Piazza di Spagna, the old Via Apia road, the Circus Maximus and the Vatican museums. Everything was perfect, except that my feet were hurting a lot from traveling, and I was followed by some bees. I'll go back home on 15th October.

Every day I go to sea and beach, in the evening I go to Spanish cuisine reastaurat.
This is very interesting because I get bored, here is full of smoke and here I can relax.
Here you may sit for 10 days and afterward I come to make a visit!

ReplyDeleteI'm having a fantastic holiday in France. I am excited. People here are very friendly. Yesterday, weather was good, but today is cloudy and rain. I was at the Disneyland, is amusing and interesting. I visited the tower Eiffel, Notre dames and museum Luvru. I am very fascinated. Food is very wonderful. Tomorrow I'm going back to Romania !!!

ReplyDeleteI am in the fascinating capital of Russia , Moscow. Today I went to the Red Square which is an incredible place to see. The food was variated , I ate traditional food , but I also ate international food. The weather was not so sunny as I wished . The people were very enchanting and I learned cool stuff from Russian people . At the end of the day I was so tired that I could sleep for days. I am dissappointed because tomorrow I have to leave the astonishing Russia .

That was the point of the postcard – to use as many adjectives in –ed or –ing as you can . Do you consider 3 adjectives ( and one wrong ) enough ? I don’t .

ReplyDeleteI'm having a relaxing holiday in Australia.It's a wonderful country.I'm fascinated.The plane flight was long and boring.Now I'm very tired.The weather is hot and sunny.The food is delicious and the people are very friendly and very nice.The places are absolutely interesting.The next days I'll visit The Ophera,Uluru also known as Ayers Rock,the Zoo and more places.I'm very excited.The beach is wonderful and the ocean is clean.
Australia is amazing.I'm very impressed.
